The Oratory was built by Matteo and Giovanni Nigetti in 1602; the ceiling was frescoed by Giovanni Martinelli, Lorenzo Lippi, Cecco Bravo, Francesco Martinelli known as Volterrano, Domenico Pugliani and Pietro Liberi.
