Life escapos: take part in the survey!

The Municipality of Florence, together with the University of Florence, is lead partner of the European projectLIFE ESCAPOS- Environmental energy for Strategic CApillary urban PolicieS, within the framework of the EU call LIFE 2023 - SAP CLIMA. This European project intends to develop, test and implement a new approach for climate adaptation planning and monitoring of urban interventions.

Within this project, a questionnaire on the perception of climate change is available. The results will be collected, and available for everyone to consult, in order to better guide the administration's future actions.

The system will be initially tested in a pilot area of the city, Firenze Nova, and then integrated into the Smart City Control Room of the Municipality. Objectives of the project, which envisages capillary monitoring actions, are:
- improve adaptive capacity and urban resilience to climate change
- reduce the vulnerability of the territory;
- contribute to the EU vision of a climate resilient society by 2050.
