Medieval Fair in Malmantile

On 31 May 2025, 1 and 2 June 2025 and again on 7 and 8 June 2025, Malmantile, the hillside district of the Municipality of Lastra a Signa, will take on the appearance of a 15th-century medieval hamlet, on the occasion of the 30th edition of the Medieval Fair.

Inside the walls, built in the 15th century, an evocative and original scenography will be set up. Thanks to the presence of more than a hundred and fifty extras the distinctive setting of a medieval hamlet will be recreated. The crafs of the time will be lovingly shown, with artisans intent on working with paper, ceramic, terracotta, iron, wood, stone and straw. There will also be weavers, alchemists, painters and scribes, but also musicians and jugglers walking through the streets of the old town. At the Hosteria or the refreshment points located along the way, visitors will be greeted by charming dames and valiant knights, to enjoy a traditional dish or a quick bite.
