The Arengario of Palazzo Vecchio will be the heart of New Year's Eve and will host well-known Italian and international music artists: a unique evening filled with music, lights, and magic, accompanied by young talents and emerging artists. A new feature this year will be a space dedicated to children: at 5:15 PM, Lorenzo Baglioni, magician Mattia Boschi, and ventriloquist Nicola Pesaresi will bring joy and entertainment with a mix of comedy and magic. At 9 PM, artists from the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino: five young artists will perform opera pieces by Rossini, Donizetti, and Puccini, Gershwin's Porgy and Bess and some of Frank Sinatra's most famous songs, such as My Way and Fly Me to the Moon. At 10:30 PM, Deborah Iurato, Syria, and Giovanni Caccamo will perform. At 11:30 PM, Mr. Rain, one of the most beloved rappers and singer-songwriters in Italy, will take the stage. After the midnight toast, the celebrations will continue with the energy of BowLand, the Florentine trio of Iranian origins. Their performance will close the evening at 12:50 AM.
