A documentary exhibition born from the collaboration with the Cesare Pavese Foundation to the correspondence and first editions of the Piedmontese writer kept in the Vieusseux Library and the Contemporary Archive.
The exhibition, scheduled from 16 September to 20 December, at the Gabinetto Vieusseux's Archivio Contemporaneo Bonsanti will be open to the public every Thursday afternoon.

The exhibition includes letters sent by Pavese to Italian intellectuals, such as Emilio Cecchi and Pietro Pancrazi; first and rare editions of Pavese's books, with dedications, collected in the author libraries kept at the Archive; various testimonies that are linked to the institute's book heritage; his activity as a translator of overseas literature and his courageous commitment as a publishing director are also traced.
