Forte Belvedere - Summer opening

Summer is back and also Forte Belvedere, one of the iconic places of Florence, open its door to public. 

Built as a city fortress at the end of the 16th century, designed by Bernardo Buontalenti on behalf of the Medici family, it offers a breathtaking view of the city and its surroundings, from the top of the Boboli Gardens to which it is connected. Forte Belvedere stays open for the entire summer period every day from 10am to 8pm except Mondays.
