The MAC Cultural Association (Musei a colazione - Museums for breakfast) offers accessible guided tours starting from spring. The visits are open to everyone, including adults and children, but they will be particularly focused on an audience with visual, motor, and hearing disabilities.

It is an initiative promoted by the Municipality of Florence, thanks to the funding from the Ministry of Tourism as part of the project "Grandi Destinazioni Italiane per un Turismo Sostenibile" (Great Italian Destinations for Sustainable Tourism).

Accessible tour at the Bardini Garden

Meeting point in Costa San Giorgio 2 at 3.20 pm. tour in English.

All people with motor disabilities will have the opportunity to walk through the tunnel of flowering wisteria by joelette, thanks to the collaboration with Via Sanese accessible APs.

The visit is completely free for everyone. To book the tour, please call +39 328 4957998 or by email. Just communicate the first and last name of the participants.

The tour for people with motor and visual disabilities includes a tactile path, a sign language interpreter for the Deaf, and will be conducted thanks to the expertise of 3 guides from Musei A Colazione. Comfortable shoes are recommended as there will be slight ascents and descents and the soil consists of gravel or grass. It is advisable to bring a canteen or water bottle.

Accessible guided tour at Parco delle Cascine

The visit takes place inside the largest public park in Florence, which is steeped in history and rich in plants and various animals, some of which are quite unusual.

At 4:00 PM, the tour will be dedicated to individuals with visual and motor disabilities in Italian. At 5:30 PM, there will be a guided tour conducted in Italian Sign Language (LIS) and English.
