Note al Museo: San Marco and Sant'Apollonia

Two precious caskets of art set in the centre of Florence, but far from the clamour of the crowds, the Museo di San Marco and the Cenacolo di Santa Apollonia will offer the public from June to October an even more suggestive visit with musical appointments by the ensembles of the Florence Chamber Orchestra.

The festival will open on 21 June for the Feast of Music and will be articulated in ten events until 26 October, ranging from Bach to Mozart to Ravel and, inevitably, to Puccini in the centenary year, up to music for the big screen by Morricone, Bakalov, Piovani, Rota.

The concerts are free of charge in the Cenacolo di Sant'Apollonia and included in the entrance ticket to the Museo di San Marco. Optional reservations ( + € 3.00)

The project was financed by the Ministry of Culture - General Directorate for the Performing Arts and realised by the Regional Directorate for National Museums Tuscany together with the Florentine Chamber Orchestra.
