Since 1989, the Florence Dance Festival has had the dual purpose of promoting the art of dance and at the same time contributing to the revival, rediscovery and sometimes rebirth of various public places.
To support the ambitious artistic project of this extraordinary edition, the organisers launched the first crowdfunding. 35 years = 35,000 euros, a milestone of many years of passion and enthusiastic dedication!
The contemporary dance festival will take place from 20 June to 23 July 2024 in the Chiostro Grande of Santa Maria Novella.
For tickets, we recommend purchasing in advance due to the limited number of seats available. In any case, on the evening of the performance, a ticket office will be open at the entrance to the Chiostro Grande of Santa Maria Novella, Piazza Santa Maria Novella n° 18; the ticket office opens 1 hour and 30 minutes before the start of the event for any seats still available.
For spectators with reduced mobility, access to the Chiostro Grande of Santa Maria Novella has no architectural barriers and is facilitated by the presence of ramps; for those who need it, we guarantee priority entrance with free access for the accompanying person.
