The Baroncoli Tower stands out in the countryside, and can be reached with a slight diversions from Via di Baroncoli.
The building, which dates back to the 15th century, was built by Carlo Ginori known as Il Vecchio as a rural dwelling. Due to its characteristics as a defensive tower, the building may have been designed by Baccio d'Agnolo, who carried out numerous works for the Ginori family.
The building is privately owned and it is currently being renovated.
Inside, coats of arms of the Ginori family and the Bartolini family can be admired.
