On Sunday 29 September, in its 97h edition, the most eagerly awaited event in the Impruneta area returns: the Grape Festival.

The day's programme will be packed with events. It will begin at 2:30 pm with a performance by the Filarmonica 'Giuseppe Verdi' of Impruneta in Piazza Buondelmonti. This will be followed at 2:50pm by the greetings of the President of the Ente Festa dell'Uva, Filippo Venturi, and the Mayor Riccardo Lazzerini.

At 3pm the parade and show of the four districts will start: Pallò, Sant'Antonio, Sante Marie and Fornaci. After the parade, there will be the award ceremony for the 43rd 'Grape Showcase' and the Solidarity Competition between the districts for blood donations. Finally, the winning Rione of the 98th edition of the Grape Festival will be proclaimed, with the traditional placing of the flag on the balcony of the Town Hall.

Tickets for the grandstands can be purchased at the Grape Festival Museum, located in Piazza Buondelmonti in Impruneta, during the following hours: Tuesday 24, Thursday 26 and Saturday 28 September from 8am to 1pm and from 3pm to 7pm Tickets cost €30 per seat, with no reductions available.
