The palace is currently the town hall and overlooks the main square of Fiesole: piazza Mino da Fiesole.
It was built in the 14th century, but was reworked in the 15th century and in the following centuries. It features a loggia supported by an architraved portico, in which many coats of arms of the magistrates that have governed Fiesole, dated from the 16th to the beginning of the 19th century, are walled in.
