The Porto di Mezzo church, located along the main road, is of relatively recent origin, born out of a small oratory, created for the devotion of the faithful.
The chronicles report that as early as the 16th century there was in this place a small oratory named after the saints Sebastiano and Rocco, that, in the 18th century, referred to a laic company, under the name of S. Rocco. An inscription that is still placed at the entrance of the church indicates that, starting roughly from 1730, the building was enlarged and renovated thanks to the company's funding. The pietra serena altar on the left, dedicated to the saints Giovanni Battista and Pietro, was commissioned in 1743 by the Fancelli family, while the right one, dedicated to the Virgin, is dated 1772.
Between1745 and 1747, the oratory housed the body of the martyr S. Giustino, sent from Rome. The chronicles do not mention any art works kept in the church and nowadays the only painting to be found is the one attributed to Antonio del Ceraiolo, hailing from the Selve church.
