The earliest records date back to 868, and although the structures have been remodelled over the centuries, the parish church of San Martino still retains typically Romanesque features.
The structure of the church has three naves, as is also evident from the facade, despite the portico with columns added at the beginning of the 17th century.
The interior features massive stone pillars supporting seven arches on each side, also made of stone, which open onto the aisles. Among the works of note inside, the wooden Crucifix currently placed in the centre of the presbytery is attributed to Agnolo Gaddi.
