Libreria Antiquaria Gonnelli

Founded in 1875 in via Ricasoli 6 (in front of Teatro Niccolini) by Luigi Gonnelli, the Libreria Antiquaria Gonnelli is one of the oldest and most historical antiquarian bookshops in Italy, with the extra value of belonging to the same family for four generations. Since its foundation it has pursued the continuity of the activities of antique bookshop, auction house and publishing house, becoming an undisputed point of reference for the national and international collecting of books and antique prints. Due to the needs of development of its activities, the Libreria Antiquaria Gonnelli has moved from its historical location in Via Ricasoli to Piazza D'Azeglio until 2022, then settling permanently in the large spaces of an art gallery in Via Fra' Giovanni Angelico 49.
