Located in the heart of Florence, the historic Galleria d’Arte Mentana constitutes a point of reference for artists and collectors. The long experience and professionalism of artistic director Giovanna Laura Adreani have resulted in the organisation of top-notch solo and collective exhibitions in close collaboration with critics and art historians. The gallery is a member of the National Association of Modern and Contemporary Art Galleries (ANGMNC) in Milan and is known on the national and international art scene for its continuous careful search for new talents in today’s world of contemporary art. Its exhibition space in Florence permanently hosts works of international artists who form part of the historic group ‘MENTANA IN FLORENCE’. The Gallery participates in the most important art fairs and organises cultural events and exchange exhibitions with Italian and foreign partners. In addition, it organises selection exhibitions to identify emerging artists and follows their careers in the contemporary art circuit. Among the many awards received by Galleria Mentana, one in particular stands out: that of Onorevole Senatore Accademico, which was granted to the artistic director in the Salone dei Cinquecento of Palazzo Vecchio in 2017.
