Occupying premises in the Santi Quirico e Lucia complex in the park of Villa Medicea Ambrogiana, the museum has chronologically arranged exhibits of archaeological finds from the Montelupo area: tools in obsidian and earthenware from prehistoric and protohistoric times; Etruscan bronzes and ceramics; materials from two large Roman villas in the area; and domestic items from the Early Middle Ages. There is also an educational section about the prehistoric period.
