The owner of the “Teatro Studio Mila Pieralli” is the Municipality of Scandicci, but the theatre is currently managed by the Fondazione Teatro della Toscana. It has staged theatre productions since the ‘80s and developed avant-garde experiences thanks to two companies, first "Magazzini Criminali” and then “Krypton”, that created a permanent workshop for the contamination of digital technologies with the creative character of theatre. Shows for school children are also performed on this stage.
