From 14 March 2025, Florence will host the exhibition 'Thomas J Price in Florence', which will involve several cultural venues in the city. British artist Thomas J Price, known for his large-scale figurative sculptures, invites viewers to reflect on individual identity and perception, overturns hierarchical structures through a mix of traditional sculpture and digital technology
The exhibition designed for the halls of the Palazzo Vecchio will present sculptural works of various scales from the permanent collection of the civic museum.
The protagonists of the exhibition are the two open-air bronzes, one in the courtyard of the Museo Novecento and a 3.6 metre high gilded sculpture that dialogues with the historical works in Piazza della Signoria.
