The Giorgio La Pira International Student Center, building on the success of previous editions, will inaugurate on Monday, March 10, 2025, the V Festival Musica Insieme. Young Interpreters at the Sala Teatina, a cycle of nine concerts featuring talented students from leading Florentine schools and academies-Conservatorio Cherubini, Scuola di Musica di Fiesole, Liceo musicale Dante Alberti and Centro Musicale Suzuki-along with established young performers.
This year's concert series once again benefits from the artistic advice of Maestro Andrea Tavani, who will accompany the audience to discover the various programs. The program ranges from the greats of the 17th century, such as J. S. Bach and A. Vivaldi to young contemporary composers who, new this year, will close the series on May 26, 2025 with an extraordinary concert featuring music composed and performed by themselves: an exciting journey between the masterpieces of music history and the voices of the future.
Admission is free, and each concert will be followed by an aperitif during which the musicians can be met and introduced.
The Luigi Cherubini Conservatory of Music in Florence is participating in the review on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Music by Farrenc, Schumann and Rachmaninov will be on the program.
