What Palazzo Strozzi is dedicating to Tracey Emin is the largest and most comprehensive monographic exhibition Italy has seen of the British artist. Tracey Emin Sex and solitude exhibits around 60 works by the British artist in the Renaissance rooms of Palazzo Strozzi, including drawings, paintings, unusual techniques, photographs and videos.
Famous for her installations, also very provocative, Tracey Emin talks about bodies and illness, sex, love, desire. These works are authentic because they derive directly from a strongly autobiographical research; they are very material and alive. The Florence exhibition does not shy away from these issues.
The exhibition runs from 16 March 2025 to 20 July at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence. More details in the dedicated page
