Three itineraries between art and nature with your City of Florence Guide Laura Torsellini. 1) The gardens of Florence. Spending half a day among meadows, blooms, pools and fountains in Boboli, Bardini Garden and the Rose Garden is a relaxing, fragrant and far from the chaos chance to know Florence. Are you fond of unusual views, small statues and naps on the grass? We can turn it into a one-day tour! Are museums closed? Let’s start walking through the nature of the hills!
2) The walls of Florence. Many urban legends relate to the walls of Florence. It is said that there were seven circles, that they pass a bit everywhere, but in reality there are still traces, evident or hidden, here and there in the city, and beautiful features of the medieval walls and Reinassance fortifications remain! A walk designed together with the archaeologists of the Laboratori Archeologici San Gallo, a bit physically demanding, but that will make you discover a whole new Florence!
3) Oriental walk in Florence (designed with the archaeologists of Laboratori Archeologici San Gallo). A tradition of political and cultural exchanges with the East has characterized Florence over the centuries, we will accompany you in the historic center of Florence to discover these "Eastern quotes", to tell the story from a different and "curious" point of view. If possible, we will also visit the extraordinary collection of Islamic art in the Bargello Museum, one of the largest in Europe.
