Forte Belvedere - Summer opening

Summer is back and also Forte Belvedere, one of the iconic places of Florence, open its door to public.

Built as a city fortress at the end of the 16th century, designed by Bernardo Buontalenti on behalf of the Medici family, it offers a breathtaking view of the city and its surroundings, from the top of the Boboli Gardens to which it is connected.

Since June 30 a new "cafeteria with a view" has opened on the panoramic terrace of the Forte: Belvedere Firenze is a place for cultural events, for a drink or for music. Open beyond the opening times of the venue; in fact Forte Belvedere stays open for the entire summer period every day from 10am to 8pm except Mondays - until October 15.

Admission is regulated as follows: free for citizens of the Metropolitan area; € 5 for adults, concessions € 3
